Shop Manager – Massimo Dutti

Job Role and Responsibilities:  

As the Shop Manager, you will oversee all daily store activities, from managing stock and driving sales to motivating your team and delivering outstanding customer service. This role is designed for an organised, proactive leader with a passion for fashion and an eye for detail, capable of balancing operational tasks with achieving the company’s strategic goals.

Stock Management

  • Ensure timely order and replenishment processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Merchandise according to trends while following brand guidelines.
  • Maintain a well-organised stockroom for efficient operations.

Sales, Hours & Productivity

  • Use commercial insights and product knowledge to drive in-store sales.
  • Implement initiatives to boost sales performance.
  • Manage store hours within budget, ensuring staffing aligns with store needs.
  • Develop effective scheduling to maximise productivity and customer engagement.
  • Monitor external activity and provide feedback to key stakeholders, including brand and product managers.

Shop Procedures and Cost Control

  • Meet operational targets, with procedures to monitor and achieve goals.
  • Manage cash desk operations and security measures.
  • Oversee store administration, health, and safety practices.

Customer Service

  • Ensure consistent delivery of top-tier customer service, encouraging the team to exceed customer expectations.

People Management

  • Take ownership of team recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Lead by example to create a motivated, goal-oriented team culture.
  • Manage staff schedules, HR processes, and payroll systems.
  • Coach and develop staff to reach performance standards and achieve their career goals.

Requirements:  

  • Ability to work retail hours at Shoreline Mall.  
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Basic computer skills
  • At least 2 years experience in a management role.
